Tennis season begins

It felt so good to be on the tennis court today. I attended a meetup at the Southampton Tennis Club and played on clay courts for the first time. Not only did I have to shake off the rust of not playing all winter, I had to readjust from racquetball. I'm still playing that too, so maybe the transition back and forth will be easier after doing more often. The clay surface was definitely different; unfortunately, I didn't get comfortable with it to the point where I could slide much.

I met some nice people, but I don't expect to see them again until another meetup as none live near me. But, you never know.

I wish I was doing that today. Instead I am building circuit boards. I have installed computer systems out that way a few times in Philly and Newark and if I remember correctly the country is nice up the Southhampton way (if I am thinking of the same place).

Southamption seemed nice from what I saw during my brief jaunt from the Turnpike to the tennis club.

I though about the issue of your title and if you need a place to host the graphic or even a new graphic I have a private web site. I use Blender and can quickly create something interesting.
You can actually make the text blend in such a way that it is transparent. It is possible to edit the "source" code of your site and use CSS to implement that.
If you give a suggestion of what you want I would be glad to create something just for the sake of using my skills.

This is an example of a web site where the site name is white over a background image and the description is some binary.

BTW, the binary converted to ASCII in the description decodes as "Don'tPanic"

I some ways that area (Southhampton) reminds me somewhat of the area south of Paris in France. This of course was a real stretch to come up with a comment that was on topic :)

Thanks very much for your offer to help with my header. I'm actually happy with the appearance of my site; I was just trying to change the settings so the title showed up in whatever feed is being used as you mentioned it was blank. But, when I tried editing the header using the Blogger interface, the graphic was misaligned. My comment about white text was that since my graphic is mostly white, I tried using white text so that it would be there to show up in a feed but not be visible on the header (a workaround that is no longer necessary with Blogger's updated optons).

I didn't venture from the city much when I was in Paris, but I hear there are quite beautiful places.

I really love the Champs De Elysses (sp?) as there is always something going on there. I could spend days at the Louvre also.
I actually like the fact that your blog shows up as (less than br greater than) :) It is very unique and I think it is unsearchable.
I am not sure if this will post twice as I am having trouble with the word verification.

Yeah, the Champs-Élysées was pretty happening. :) The Louvre was nice too, but I took such a macro view since it is so big and wasn't able to appreciate it as much as I'd have liked. I was particularly looking forward to Versailles, but being there in December meant that all the statues were covered with tarps, all the fountains were still, and the trees were enclosed in fencing. Not to mention that the marble benches were cold and damp. :(
